Dos Santos confirms he's off of UFC Halifax
The main event of UFC Fight Night 105 is officially kaput.
Heavyweight contender Junior dos Santos had been hoping to stay on the Feb. 19 card scheduled for Halifax, Nova Scotia after it was reported that his opponent Stefan Struve was forced out of their main event bout with a shoulder injury.
Unfortunately, it appears that the matchmakers could not find a suitable replacement for Struve. On Friday, "Cigano" told a fan on Twitter that he has also been removed from the card.

Dos Santos had said he was open to a rematch with Fabricio Werdum, the man that he beat in his UFC debut back in 2008, but Werdum declined.
UFC Fight Night 105 currently has just six fights scheduled, with a replacement main event still to be determined.
