Gegard Mousasi could get the chance to avenge one of the most devastating losses of his career.

UFC Fight Night 99 is in line for a major change with the news that an injury has forced Gunnar Nelson out of his main-event welterweight bout opposite Dong Hyun Kim, according to a report from MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani. Taking their place will be a rematch between Mousasi and Uriah Hall.

The two top-10 middleweights fought last September at UFC Fight Night 75, with Hall earning an upset victory. Mousasi looked to be winning the bout before being caught with a gorgeous spinning kick from Hall that led to a second-round TKO finish.

Mousasi has been gunning for matchups with high-profile fighters Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva, but he has mentioned wanting to rematch Hall on several occasions despite their records moving in opposite directions. "The Dreamcatcher" is undefeated in three contests since losing to Hall, while Hall has lost two straight in that same time.

There is no word on whether the promotion will seek a replacement opponent for Kim.

UFC Fight Night 99 takes place on Nov. 19 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
