A decade after their last meeting, Wanderlei Silva and Mirko Filipovic will get to settle their rivalry with a trilogy.

The Pride FC luminaries will fight for the third time at the Rizin FF World Grand Prix quarterfinals. The matchup was announced during Sunday's broadcast of the tournament's opening round, where the formerly retired "Cro Cop" submitted Hyun Man Myung in the first round.

Silva hasn't fought since knocking out Brian Stann at UFC on Fuel 8 in 2013, and was granted a bye for the Grand Prix's opening round.

The veterans' upcoming bout isn't exactly a rubber match, as their first matchup at Pride 20 ended in a draw, with Filipovic finishing Silva via first-round head kick four years later in 2006.

They'll meet in the tournament's quarterfinals on Dec. 29 in Saitama, Japan.
