As the late great James Brown would say, Charles Bennett might not know karate, but he definitely knows “ka-razy.”

"Krazy Horse" - a veteran of over 60 MMA bouts - got back in the saddle Sunday at a Rizin Fighting Federation event in Saitama, Japan with one of the most memorable performances in recent history.

It took all of seven seconds for Bennett to dust Minoru Kimura, a 23-year-old kickboxer making his MMA debut. Kimura jumped right at Bennett only to be smoked with a counter right hand that left him down for the proverbial count.

And that was just the start for Bennett.

"Seven seconds? That's the quickest paycheck I've ever made," said Bennett, who delivered his post-fight promo while lounging on the mat. He then turned his ire towards Wanderlei Silva who was seated at ringside.

Bennett and Silva have a heated rivalry dating back to their days in the PRIDE organization. In a heavily circulated video taken backstage at a December 2005 event, Bennett can be seen getting into a scuffle with Silva's teammate Cristiano Marcello. The infamous brawl ended with Marcello choking Bennett unconscious.

However, according to Bennett, there was a second backstage battle between himself and Silva after the cameras stopped rolling. And that fight allegedly led to Bennett knocking Silva out. Bennett reminded Silva of the incident on Sunday.

"'Candy-lei,' for the record, you know what happened in 2005," said Bennett. "That's why you're still salty. That's why you still want to try to get some of this. But you can't get none of this unless we put it on contract. We put it on contract and then you can get some.

"And other than that, every time your big, steroid-headed ass sees me ... I run fast."

Prior to the bout, Bennett wore a short that read "Who needs an old axe?" in reference to Silva's "The Axe Murderer" nickname.

After Bennett's promo, Silva seemed amused by his antics.

But backstage, the two apparently had to be separated after a near-confrontation.

All in all, it was a pretty full day for Krazy Horse.
