Leites-Jotko, 5 other bouts added to UFC Sao Paulo

Mark D. Smith / USA TODAY Sports

As usual when it comes to booking a card in Brazil, the UFC is loading up with homegrown talent.

The promotion announced six more bouts for their return to Sao Paulo at UFC Fight Night 100 on Nov. 19. Light heavyweights Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira were previously confirmed for the main event.

Joining Nogueira on the Brazilian side are Thales Leites, Luis Henrique, Johnny Eduardo, Matheus Nicolau, Marcos Rogerio de Lima, and Sergio Moraes.

The No. 11-ranked Leites will fight Polish middleweight Krzysztof Jotko. Leites is 6-2 in his second stint with the UFC, his most recent win coming against Chris Camozzi. He'll have the challenge of stopping Jotko, a Polish standout who's won his last four fights.

Nicolau recently entered the top 15 of the flyweight division after outpointing one-time title challenger John Moraga in July. He is 2-0 at 125 pounds and looks to continue that success against Ulka Sasaki.

Also of note are a bantamweight bout between the No. 14-ranked Eduardo and Manny Gamburyan, and a welterweight contest between Moraes and Michael Graves, two fighters on unbeaten streaks.

Here's the complete list of additions:

  • Thales Leites vs. Krzysztof Jotko
  • Matheus Nicolau vs. Ulka Sasaki
  • Johnny Eduardo vs. Manny Gamburyan
  • Sergio Moraes vs. Michael Graves
  • Luis Henrique vs. Christian Colombo
  • Marcos Rogerio de Lima vs. Gadzhimurad Antigulov
