As if its lightweight division wasn't already stacked, the UFC has added a gifted, young prospect to its roster.
Former Bellator MMA lightweight contender Marcin Held took to Twitter to announce his move to the UFC early Tuesday morning:
Just 24 years old, the Pole already holds an impressive record of 22-4, going 11-3 in Bellator. A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, 12 of his victories have come by submission.
Held joins a familiar foe in the UFC in Will Brooks. The pair fought in November for the Bellator lightweight championship, a clash Brooks won by unanimous decision, after which he jumped ship from the promotion. Held now has a chance to avenge the loss.
