Now that Urijah Faber has had more time to reflect on his last loss, he's even more certain that he has more fights in him.

His trilogy-sealing bout against rival Dominick Cruz at UFC 199 ended in anti-climactic fashion, with Cruz winning the most one-sided decision of their long rivalry.

That disappointing performance left "The California Kid" at a crossroads, though it sounds like he's decided to stay on his current path.

"No, I'm not gonna retire," Faber told Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting. "(Joe) Rogan asked me the hard questions and I do this to be the best. I feel like (at age) 37 (that was) one of the best training camps I've had, period. It was amazing."

Even though he failed for the fourth time to capture a UFC title, Faber is still ranked No. 2 in the bantamweight division. He's been counted out in the past, only to emerge as a contender time and time again.

A fight with former training partner-turned enemy T.J. Dillashaw could be in the cards, along with a bevy of young challengers in one of the UFC's strongest divisions.

"I know I'm right there at the top," Faber said. "I don't know what's next necessarily. I'm gonna chill for a bit. But I'm definitely not done done."
