Teixeira out of UFC on FOX 20, Barboza-Melendez bumped up to co-main event

When Anthony "Rumble" Johnson was forced from UFC on FOX 20 for personal reasons, it was believed that his opponent Glover Teixeira would be given a new adversary.

Instead, Teixeira has been pulled from the card, the UFC confirmed Friday.

The UFC will likely look to re-book the fight between Teixeira and Johnson at a later date, as the two are among the most likely contenders for the light heavyweight belt after Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier square off for the title at UFC 200.

Holly Holm will face Valentina Shevchenko at UFC on FOX 20 in her first fight since losing her bantamweight title, while the lightweight clash between Gilbert Melendez and Edson Barboza has been elevated to the co-main event.
