Robert Kraft knows a winner when he sees one, and it looks like he's planning to add the UFC to his portfolio.

News broke on Thursday of the UFC accepting bids for a potential sale of 100 percent of the company, with corporate giants William Morris Endeavor (WME) and China's Dalian Wanda Group reportedly working together to present an offer exceeding $4 billion.

One of WME's investors is The Kraft Group, which is chaired by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. WME has asked investors to make a contribution in the range of $25 million to $50 million, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

Kraft and UFC president Dana White have hosted each other at their respective sporting events in the past, with Kraft meeting White and superstar fighter Conor McGregor backstage when the UFC came to Boston in 2013.
