Canadian fighters Doerksen, Grant featured on UFC 119 card

Welterweight T.J. Grant of Cole Harbour, N.S., will meet Julio (The Dominican Demon) Paulino on the undercard of UFC 119 on Sept. 25 in Indianapolis.

Winnipeg middleweight Joe (El Dirte) Doerksen will be showcased on the televised portion of the UFC 119 undercard against C.B. (The Doberman) Dollaway.

The previously announced main event at the Conseco Fieldhouse is a rematch between former heavyweight champion Frank Mir and former interim title-holder Antono Rodrigo Nogueira.

Nogueira's twin brother, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, meets light-heavyweight Ryan (Darth) Bader in the co-main event while local favourite Chris (Light Out) Lytle faces former welterweight champion Matt (The Terror) Serra.

Grant (15-4) is coming off a loss to Johny Hendricks at UFC 113 in Montreal in May. Doerksen (45-12) was the lone Canadian to win that night, submitting Tom Lawlor.

Two lightweight bouts round out the UFC 119 main card. Unbeaten lightweight Evan Dunham takes on veteran Sean (The Muscle Shark) Sherk and Melvin (The Young Assassin) Guillard tackles Jeremy (Lil' Heathen) Stephens.

The other televised undercard fight has heavyweight Matt Mitrione facing Joey (The Mexicutioner) Beltran.

Former K-1 and Pride fighter Mark Hunt meets Sean McCorkle in a battle of UFC debutante heavyweights.
