Bonnar, Herman test positive after UFC 153

Stephan Bonnar and Dave Herman both tested positive for banned substances after their respective fights at UFC 153. Bonnar and Herman were the only two to test positive of the 24 fighters tested after the Rio de Janeiro event.

Bonnar, who lost to Anderson Silva in the light heavyweight main event, tested positive for the anabolic steroid Drostanolone, while Herman tested positive for marijuana metabolites.

Bonnar announced his retirement earlier this week. The 35-year-old has been suspended for a positive test in the past.
