Cain Velasquez says Antonio Silva most dangerous standing

Today’s “The MMA Show with Mauro Ranallo” podcast featured an interview with Cain Velasquez, who takes on Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva tomorrow night at UFC 146. Velasquez was set to fight Frank Mir until a slew of changes meant the card was reshuffled.

“I just think Silva’s a big guy, a powerful guy who is very well rounded. He mixes up punches and kicks very well, and he’s also pretty good on the ground. But I think he just mixes up his muay Thai — he’s really good on the feet. I just gotta be quicker than him and beat him to every punch.”
