The New York Red Bulls announced Monday that the club has signed new deals with four key players, offering extended contracts for MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Luis Robles and versatile attacking wingers Mike Grella and Sal Zizzo, while also bringing free-agent midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips back to the club.

Wright-Phillips, the older brother of fellow Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips, returns to the club after having his contract option declined at the end of the 2015 season.

"We are happy to bring Shaun back and to sign three of our key core players to new multi-year contracts," Red Bulls sporting director Ali Curtis said in a statement.

Robles and Grella in particular were significant players for the Red Bulls last season, featuring in nearly every regular-season match. Zizzo made 22 appearances, mostly off the bench, offering an alternate option for Jesse Marsch's side.

Red Bulls fans will be quite pleased with these new deals, even though term lengths were not disclosed. The team will need them March 6 when the Red Bulls kick off the 2016 regular season at home against Toronto FC.
