Cristiano Ronaldo: There could be a 'good chance for me to play' in MLS

Despite reports linking him with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and a return to England with Manchester United, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is not dismissing the notion of playing in North America.

It could be a few years off though, and the Portuguese has changed his mind after previously saying he wants to finish his career "with dignity," and that he didn't believe that could be achieved in the United States.

"Maybe in the future will be a good chance for me to play there," Ronaldo told GQ magazine via AS.

"You never know, but it's something interesting. I consider it, of course, because as I've said soccer there has become better and better."

Major League Soccer would turn the piggy bank upside down to get the three-time World Player of the Year into the division, as it would prove a marketing exercise that could blow the 2007 move of David Beckham to the LA Galaxy out of the water.

Ronaldo last committed his future to Los Blancos in 2013, when he put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Real Madrid entertains Sporting Gijon at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
