All three Cascadia rivals have qualified for the MLS postseason after the Portland Timbers defeated the Colorado Rapids 4-1 on Sunday.

The Timbers join the Vancouver Whitecaps and the Seattle Sounders to round out the Northwestern contingent, with midfielder Darlington Nagbe finding the back of the net twice, Jorge Villafana scoring off a deflection, and Fanendo Adi adding a fourth in the win at Providence Park.

Portland clinched a playoff berth with its third-place finish in the Western Conference and will take on Sporting Kansas City in the first round at home on Thursday, October 29.
