VIDEO: Atlanta United FC releases incredible virtual fly-through of new stadium

The future home of Atlanta United FC has submitted its bid to become a runaway favourite for the best stadium in Major League Soccer.

The expansion side, which kicks off its inaugural season in 2017, released virtual footage of its new venue, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, on Tuesday.

The retractable roof, coupled with several other state-of-the-art features, should see the stadium become one of the United States' main sporting venues when it opens in March 2017.
