CARSON, Calif. (AP) Robbie Keane scored twice, Landon Donovan had a goal and two assists, and the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the New York Red Bulls 4-0 on Sunday night.

The Galaxy (16-5-9) moved back into tie with the Seattle Sounders for the MLS lead, stretching their undefeated run to nine games in their only meeting of the season with the Red Bulls (10-9-11).

Keane opened the scoring with a looping chip shot off Donovan's cross in the eighth minute and finished the scoring in the 82nd minute, beating goalkeeper Luis Robles for his 17th goal of the season.

Donavan scored the Galaxy's second goal in the 50th minute, picking defender Chris Duvall from behind in the penalty box.

Gyasi Zardes added a third on a give-and-go with Donovan in the 69th minute. It was Donovan's 134th career assist, one short of Steve Ralston's MLS record.
