Montreal, QC - The Los Angeles Galaxy rallied from a two-goal deficit with a pair of second-half goals on Wednesday to claim a point in an entertaining 2-2 draw with the Montreal Impact at Stade Saputo.

The Galaxy have been the best team in Major League Soccer over the past few weeks, riding a five-match winning streak in league play. Gyasi Zardes and Alan Gordon scored in the 59th and 64th minutes to help the club claim an important point in the standings and move to within one point of Seattle for the top spot in the West.

Montreal collected goals from Marco Di Vaio in the 28th minute and Ignacio Piatti in the 34th, but the Canadian club failed to hold the lead and remain on the bottom of the East with 21 points.

The home side opened the scoring when Dilly Duka got free down the left wing and laid the ball into the path of Di Vaio for an easy tap-in at the near post.

The Impact then made it 2-0 two minutes before the break when Felipe sent it low into the box on the counter-attack for Piatti, who had time to turn and rip it past Galaxy goalkeeper Brian Rowe.

After the break the Galaxy were on the front foot and they cut the deficit in half when Juninho ripped a strike from distance that made its way to Zardes at the far post and he redirected it home for his 15th goal of the season.

The visitors then grabbed the equalizer just a few minutes later when Robbie Keane shuffled his way to the end line on the left side of the pitch and squared it to Gordon, who knocked it home just moments after his arrival onto the field.
