MLS Game Summary - Chicago at Toronto FC

Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Fire salvaged a 2-2 draw at BMO Field on Saturday against Toronto FC as Quincy Amarikwa scored the equalizer in the 90th minute.

Bakary Soumare's own goal just three minutes into the match handed Toronto the lead, and that held up until the 70th minute when substitute Robert Earnshaw scored in his debut to level the match.

Gilberto restored Toronto's lead with 11 minutes to play, but Amarikwa arrived at the back post to slam home a ball from Lovel Palmer, securing a point for his side.

A cross from Toronto's Justin Morrow in the third minute was headed over goalkeeper Sean Johnson by his teammate, Soumare, handing TFC a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Earnshaw was signed earlier this week and he made his first appearance in the second half a memorable one as he scored on a diving header from Grant Ward's cross to level the match at 1-1 with 20 minutes to play.

The hosts regained the lead nine minutes later with a nice counter attack that saw Luke Moore release Gilberto with a nice through ball that the forward finished off past Johnson.

But Toronto was unable to hold the lead as Palmer worked his way down the right wing and chipped a ball into the box that skipped to the back post for Amarikwa to lash into the top corner.
