MLS Game Summary - Toronto FC at Columbus

Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Luke Moore recorded a goal and two assists at Crew Stadium on Saturday to lift Toronto FC to a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Crew.

Toronto went in front in the 43rd minute when Moore found space in the attacking third and released Gilberto, who fired a left-footed strike past Steve Clark for his fourth goal of the season.

But the lead was short-lived as Columbus pulled one back in first-half stoppage time.

Justin Morrow was whistled for a hand ball in the box, resulting in a penalty for the home side that Federico Higuain converted with great assuredness.

Toronto would eventually grab another go-ahead goal in the 59th minute when Moore penetrated the Columbus defense to draw Clark off his line, allowing Osorio to tuck home his goal of the campaign.

Justin Meram thought he had earned a share of the spoils for Columbus when he leveled the score nine minutes from time with a long-distance effort, but Moore struck three minutes later with his fifth goal of the campaign to seal Toronto's second consecutive league victory.

Toronto (9-7-5) climbs to 32 points on the season to move five points clear of Columbus (6-8-9).
