Morris, Lletget, Brooks, Orozco released from U.S. camp

A quartet of internationals have withdrawn from the United States' national team camp ahead of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Panama, U.S. Soccer has announced, with Club Tijuana midfielder Paul Arriola drafted as a reinforcement.

Jordan Morris (ankle), Sebastian Lletget (foot), Michael Orozco (knee), and John Brooks (sinus) all departed camp. Lletget suffered the injury early in Friday's 6-0 win over Honduras, while Brooks was replaced in the second half. Neither Morris nor Orozco were fit for the match.

Lletget took a bad tackle and came off shortly after. He left San Jose's Avaya Stadium in a walking boot, and returned to the LA Galaxy for treatment.

Head coach Bruce Arena was optimistic that Brooks would take the trip to Panama City. He managed to play 70 minutes against Honduras, despite coming into camp with a sinus infection.

Morris and Orozco also carried injuries into the international break.

The U.S. is currently fighting to undo two early losses in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying. The drubbing of Honduras certainly helped, but a result in Panama would thrust the Americans back into an automatic qualifying berth.
