New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles has been a stalwart in between the sticks for his side since 2012 and has now cemented his league legacy, breaking the record for most consecutive starts with his 142nd nod coming against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday.

Robles has recorded 12,690 minutes in those 142 consecutive matches, earning 67 wins in the regular season, making 412 saves and recording 39 clean sheets.

The previous record (141) was held by former midfielder Chris Klein, who played for the LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and then-Kansas City Wizards from 1998 to 2010.
