Fresh off the acquisition of Bernardo Anor, MLS expansion outfit Minnesota United announced Tuesday the signing of veteran Jamaica international defender Jermaine Taylor.

The 32-year-old last made 23 appearances with the Portland Timbers in 2016 after being selected in the Re-Entry Draft, and had previously spent five seasons with the Houston Dynamo. In total, Taylor has 135 MLS matches under his belt.

At international level, Taylor has amassed over 80 caps with Jamaica, helping the Reggae Boyz win three Caribbean Cups.

He joins Adrian Heath's side as the 20th player on Minnesota's inaugural roster.
