MLS schedule set for semifinal 2nd legs

After the Seattle Sounders topped FC Dallas 3-0 in Sunday's late semifinal first leg courtesy of a second-half onslaught, MLS released the schedule for next weekend's quartet of pivotal clashes.

With the away-goal tiebreaker looming large, four sides that won Sunday at home will travel with one foot in the conference finals. The four teams to earn first-round byes all lost Sunday by a 7-0 margin, with Seattle and Toronto FC the big winners.

New York city will host a pair of Canadian sides holding first-leg leads, with the Montreal Impact visiting New York Red Bulls after Matteo Mancuso's third goal in two matches was the difference in a 1-0 victory at Stade Saputo.

Impact rival Toronto FC will pay Yankee Stadium a visit as Patrick Vieira's New York City FC looks to overturn a 2-0 defeat.

In the Western Conference, Supporters' Shield holder FC Dallas will need no less than a three-goal swing at the Toyota Stadium, while the Colorado Rapids face a one-goal hole after Giovani Dos Santos' second-half finish handed the five-time MLS Cup winning LA Galaxy a victory at the StubHub Center.
