The Seattle Sounders got the goal-scoring started early on MLS Decision Day with a crucial effort against Real Salt Lake, only for their Western Conference foes to respond within minutes in this key clash with playoff implications.
Both teams need a win to clinch a postseason berth, though other results could still see them through. In the meantime, Jordan Morris' back-heel to find Alvaro Fernandez in the 4th minute gave Sounders fans an early cheer, but Luke Mulholland's equalizer less than two minutes later spoiled the party at CenturyLink Field.
