Belgium names Ciman for 2 World Cup qualifiers

Belgium manager Roberto Martinez announced Friday his 25-man squad for a pair of upcoming World Cup qualifying fixtures, with plenty of familiar faces making the cut and Newcastle 'keeper Matz Sels once again earning a nod.

Montreal Impact defender Laurent Ciman also made the squad in the stead of Manchester City veteran Vincent Kompany, who remains out of commission with a groin problem he picked up upon returning from a calf injury.

Brothers Eden and Thorgan Hazard were listed as attackers, and Martinez was adamant the two players would "one day" feature side-by-side for the Belgian Red Devils, "for sure."

Belgium takes on Bosnia and Herzegovina on Oct. 7 before playing Gibraltar three days later.
