Watch: Morris etches name in MLS history book with deft header

Jordan Morris is putting the Seattle Sounders on his broad shoulders.
The 21-year-old striker, hailed as a future star both in MLS and with the United States, hit an impressive milestone in his rookie season on Saturday, scoring his 10th goal of the campaign to lift his side to a 1-0 triumph over the sliding Vancouver Whitecaps.
By virtue of the tally, Morris became just the fifth rookie in league history to reach a double-digit scoring tally in his first season, and set a new MLS rookie record with his fifth game-winning strike.
Morris, who has been thrust into the leading role for the Sounders after Clint Dempsey was sidelined due to concerns over an irregular heartbeat, is doing his best to keep Seattle's slim playoff chances alive.
