Watch: David Villa scores 1st Hudson River Derby goal

New York City FC captain David Villa was determined not to replicate a humiliating 7-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls in Sunday's Hudson River Derby rematch at Yankee Stadium and, with Jack Harrison in inspired form, Villa did just that, scoring the second of two goals just past the hour mark.

Villa's tap-in came off a smart cross by a streaking Harrison on the right-hand side and marks the first time the Spanish striker has scored against the Red Bulls.

Harrison himself notched the first goal early in the game, beating a pair of defenders before forcing Luis Robles into fumbling his shot into the back of the net.
