PHILADELPHIA - Andrew Jacobson, Kekuta Manneh and Christian Bolanos each found the back of the net as the Vancouver Whitecaps handed the Philadelphia Union its first home loss of the season in a 3-2 win at Talen Energy Stadium on Saturday night.

Bolanos' 84th-minute goal proved the difference between the two sides, with the Costa Rican hitting a right-footed shot through the legs of defender Keegan Rosenberry to give his side a 3-1 lead to defend.

The Union (7-5-5) having yet to lose a match at home and sitting atop the Eastern Conference, opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Fabian Herbers' shot from 15 yards hit the crossbar and Sebastien Le Toux chested the rebound to Roland Alberg for his fifth goal of the season.

Jacobson tied it five minutes later, heading Bolanos' corner kick through the hands of goalkeeper Andre Blake.

Vancouver cut the lead to 2-1 courtesy of Kekuta Manneh, who beat a pair of defenders before smacking the post and scoring with a right-footed shot from just outside the box.

A 95th-minute Philadelphia goal by Chris Pontius could not further spur on a triumphant comeback and the Union succumbed to a 3-2 loss as a result.
