Montreal retains top spot in the East with draw vs. Philadelphia

MONTREAL - Former Chelsea standout Didier Drogba scored on a half-volley in the third minute as the Eastern Conference-leading Montreal Impact played to a 1-1 Major League Soccer draw Saturday with the Philadelphia Union.
It was the fourth deadlock in a row for the Impact, with Ivory Coast star Drogba's fourth goal of the season being matched by the Union's C.J. Sapong in the 21st minute.

Montreal moved to 4-3 with four drawn to stay one point ahead of Philadelphia atop the MLS East table.
