COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Bernardo Anor scored twice and the Columbus Crew ended a seven-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over the Montreal Impact on Saturday.

Columbus (5-7-8) drew within a point of the final playoff spot in the East. Montreal (3-10-5) remained with the fewest points in the league.

Montreal opening the scoring in the 35th minute as Marco Di Vaio took a long pass from Justin Mapp, got past defender Giancarlo Gonzalez, and drilled a right-footed shot past Crew goalkeeper Steve Clark from the top of the box.

The Crew evened it in the 56th minute. Tony Tchani found Anor in space and his left-footed shot eluded Montreal goalkeeper Evan Bush.

Anor scored the winner in the 74th minute. He collected a loose ball near midfield, took a couple of dribbles and fired to beat Bush.
