Blue Jays' Devon Travis: Will see time in minor-league games this week

Rotowire

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said that Travis (knee) would receive at-bats in minor-league games within the next few days, John Lott of The Athletic Toronto reports.

Analysis:

Travis has been slow to recover from offseason knee surgery, but his progression to game action suggests he's nearly back to full health. He's expected to serve as a DH in his first few games of the spring, but until he's able to see some action at second base, Travis should be viewed as questionable for Opening Day.
