VIDEO: Tulowitzki smashes MLB's 1st HR of 2016

Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports

If there was any doubt about how comfortable Troy Tulowitzki was feeling as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays to start the regular season, he ended any possible discussions with one swing of the bat.

Tulowitzki hammered a Ryan Webb offering into the left center-field stands during the eighth inning of Sunday's contest against the Tampa Bay Rays, making it the first home run hit during the 2016 MLB campaign.

The long ball was Tulowitzki's fourth career Opening Day home run, having also accomplished the feat in 2009, 2012, and 2013.
