The Toronto Blue Jays are apparently interested in bringing back slugger Edwin Encarnacion, and they're not going to give up on the slugger just yet.

Toronto will revisit contract talks with Encarnacion at the All-Star break after the club made a guaranteed two-year offer to the slugger plus a third-year vesting option, reports MLB Network's Jon Heyman.

Encarnacion, who will be a free agent at season's end, hasn't made a counteroffer at this point, but hopes to receive a deal in the four-to-five year range on the free-agent market, Heyman writes.

The Blue Jays are also reportedly willing to extend a three-year offer exceeding $20 million per year to Encarnacion's power-hitting teammate Jose Bautista, who's slated to become a free agent as well.

Bautista is seeking a five-year contract for at least $150 million as a free agent, according to Heyman.

The slugging pair have been boons for a powerful Toronto offense, generating an immense amount of pop for the reigning American League East champions.
