Miller (right hand) does not expect to miss time, WFAN's Sweeny Murti reports.

Analysis:

Recently diagnosed with a chip fracture on his non-pitching hand, Miller made it quite clear that he expects to play through the injury. His optimism is obviously a good sign, but he still needs to visit with a specialist, and the Yankees have yet to confirm his availability. Miller should still be considered uncertain for the start of the season. With Aroldis Chapman suspended for the first 30 games, the Yankees may be more inclined to let Miller pitch through his injury.
