Ryan Braun: Returning to game action this week

Braun (back) confirmed he will return to game action this week, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Haudricourt follows up with some very encouraging news, including that Braun could be playing already but is simply playing it safe. Moreover, with three weeks remaining in spring training, there's more than enough time for the veteran to prepare for the regular season. Barring a major setback, it appears Braun will be ready for Opening Day.
