The New York Yankees unveiled their newest bullpen weapon Saturday when imposing left-hander Aroldis Chapman took part in his first bullpen session of spring training.

Acquired by the Yankees during the offseason, Chapman's spring debut was met with considerable fanfare, as the hard-throwing Cuban joined Andrew Miller, Dellin Betances, and CC Sabathia in a star-studded workout at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

A four-time All-Star, Chapman remains under investigation for an incident at his house in Florida in October involving his girlfriend. Though prosecutors declined to file charges, Major League Baseball is investigating Chapman under its new domestic violence policy. Commissioner Rob Manfred expects a decision soon, while the pitcher said Thursday that he would appeal any suspension to baseball's arbitrator.

Yankees pitchers and catchers reported to camp Thursday, and position players are scheduled to join them Feb. 24.
