The Cleveland Indians continue to complement one of the league's best rotations by adding more offense, agreeing to a one-year, $4-million deal with infielder Juan Uribe on Friday.

Uribe has been on Cleveland's radar since early last month and will likely serve as the team's third baseman over Giovanny Urshela. Olney notes that it could take some time for Uribe to arrive at camp due to pending visa issues.

The 15-year veteran, who turns 37 next month, split last season between the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, and New York Mets. In 119 games, Uribe slashed .253/.320/.417 with 14 home runs and 17 doubles. He's hit .281/.329/.432 in 354 games over the past three seasons.

Cleveland has spent the winter upgrading its roster through minor moves. Outfielder Rajai Davis and first baseman Mike Napoli each agreed to one year deals valued at a combined $12.25 million.

Though Uribe almost exclusively played at third base the last two seasons, he did play eight games at second in 2015.

The Indians ranked 11th in runs scored and 13th in home runs among American League teams last year.
