Braun (back) may return to left field for the 2016 season, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

After Khris Davis was dealt to Oakland for prospects Friday, general manager David Stearns is open to the idea of Braun switching from right to left field, stating that the Brewers are "discussing our various options." Braun made the initial change in order to open up a regular spot for Davis prior to the 2014 season, but the presence of the strong-armed Domingo Santana makes the potential move a logical one. In the final stages of his recovery from offseason back surgery, Braun has mentioned that he's behind schedule, so placing less of a burden on the veteran outfielder as he aims for availability on Opening Day could also play a factor.
