MLB teams load up as they depart for spring camps

With spring training just around the corner, it's time for clubs to get their gear to their facilities in time for the 2016 spring campaign.

Here's a closer look at how a few teams loaded up on their respective truck days with gear and equipment on their way to either Arizona or Florida, and just how much work goes into the spring moves:

The Tampa Bay Rays got some help from mascot Raymond as they loaded up their trucks on Tuesday at Tropicana Field. Included in the two moving trucks were 12 cases of baseball, 300 pairs of pants, and 100 jerseys as the team got set to depart for the Charlotte Sports Complex in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Like the Rays, the Detroit Tigers received some help from their mascot, but Paws may have misunderstood his task, instead trying to pack himself in a box for the 18-hour commute to spring training in Lakeland, Fla.

The Chicago Cubs, who are being labeled as World Series favorites after a massive offseason that included the signings of Jason Heyward, John Lackey, and Ben Zobrist, got their packing done for spring camp at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz., as they get set to try to break the greatest curse in baseball.
