Analysis:
The Orioles came out on top slightly with this deal, as Matusz asked for $4.4 million and the Orioles countered with $3.5 million. This deal officially brings the left-hander back as a large part of the Baltimore bullpen after Matusz posted a 2.94 ERA with 10.3 K/9 in 2015.
