Mets' minor league team invites fans to 'Netflix and chill'

The Binghamton Mets are bringing new meaning to the phrase "fan engagement."
The New York Mets' Double-A affiliate announced a new promotion Monday that's apparently designed to get more fans in their ... stands.
Whether the team is in on the joke or unaware of what "Netflix and chill" really means, fans interested in attending the April 12 game might want to give extra consideration to whom they plan on bringing out to the ballpark that night.
Update: The club's social media account deleted the tweet in question, and clarified its intentions in a subsequent post on Twitter:
