Vin Scully is preparing to embark on his 67th - and final season - in the Los Angeles Dodgers' broadcast booth, and he's got some special plans for his final sign off.

"As a little kid who grew up literally in the Polo Grounds and was an avid Giants fan - I think I can admit that now - I would love to finish with a Dodgers-Giants game," Scully said. "God willing, it will work out. We'll see."

The Dodgers finish their 2016 campaign in San Francisco with a three-game set Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at AT&T Park, which could provide the backdrop for Scully's final call of his storied broadcasting career, unless Los Angeles qualifies for the postseason.

"Maybe, because it will be my last year, I might do the playoffs," Scully, who normally only works home games at this stage of his career, added. "But I don't think I would do the World Series."

Scully, who on Friday learned Elysian Park Avenue - the street that leads directly to Dodger Stadium's main entrance - would be named after him, received the largest ovation at the club's FanFest event Saturday.
