VIDEO: Blackmon nails backward, half-court shot at Nuggets game

Charlie Blackmon didn't run out of gas this time.

The Colorado Rockies outfielder, who was stranded on the side of the road earlier this week after testing the limits of the empty light on his vehicle, drilled a behind-the-back half-court shot during Thursday's Denver Nuggets-Memphis Grizzlies game at Pepsi Center.

The Nuggets could have used Blackmon's skills from long range on Thursday after hitting just nine of their 30 3-point attempts, eventually losing to the Grizzlies 102-101.
