Stanton enters season as favorite to win HR title
Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton is the early favorite to lead the majors in home runs in 2016.
With one month remaining until pitchers and catchers report to spring training, Stanton is opening at 8-1 odds to win his first home run title of his career.
The three-time All-Star appeared well on his way to pacing the majors last season, clubbing a league-leading 27 homers through his first 74 games, but had his year cut short in late June after breaking a bone in his hand.
