The Milwaukee Brewers reportedly agreed to a minor-league deal with outfielder Eric Young Jr. on Tuesday, according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.
Capable of playing all three outfield positions, Young is coming of a disappointing season split between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets. In 53 games, the 30-year-old hit .153/.217/.247 with four doubles and six stolen bases.
The Brewers mark the fourth organization for Young, whom enters his eighth season in the majors. He's two years removed from stealing a career-high 46 bases.
