Philip Humber is getting a second shot at the big leagues.

The right-hander has agreed to a minor-league deal with the San Diego Padres after pitching last season in Korea.

Humber - who is best known for his April 2012 performance where he threw the 21st perfect game in major-league history - went 3-3 with a 6.75 ERA and 1.86 WHIP in 50 2/3 innings for the Kia Tigers of the Korean Baseball Organization last season.

The 32-year-old compiled a 16-23 record with a 5.31 ERA and 1.42 WHIP over parts of eight seasons in the majors before heading overseas.

San Diego also inked southpaw Frank Garces, who was non-tendered by the Padres last week, to a minor-league pact.
