Report: Blue Jays agree to deal with Darwin Barney

The Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly welcoming infielder Darwin Barney back into the fold with a major-league deal, reports Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.
Barney's deal is pending a physical.
The 30-year-old appeared in 15 games for the Blue Jays last season after being acquired in a trade from the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting .304/.333/.609 with two home runs and four RBIs with Toronto.
Barney won a Gold Glove as a second baseman with the Chicago Cubs in 2012 and owns a career .246/.294/.339 slash line with 21 home runs and 157 RBIs in 581 career games.
