Starlin Castro: Traded to Yankees
Castro was traded to the Yankees on Tuesday for right-hander Adam Warren and a player to be named later, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Multiple outlets are confirming that the Cubs have indeed sent Castro to New York, less than an hour after inking Ben Zobrist to a three-year contract. A three-time All-Star at the age of 25, Castro has seen his stock fall considerably in recent years, but he will be afforded a fresh start as the Yankees' starting second baseman.
