The Baltimore Orioles were busy Tuesday, signing eight players to minor-league contracts.

Among them were right-handed relievers Pedro Beato and Todd Redmond, according to Roch Kubar of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.

Most recently with the Atlanta Braves in 2015, Beato owns a 4.34 ERA in 93 1/3 innings pitched in his career.

After making his major-league debut in 2011 with the New York Mets and being traded to the Boston Red Sox a year later, the 29-year-old returns to the Orioles, who drafted him in the first round in 2006.

Redmond spent the past three seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, starting in 2013 before shifting to a bullpen role in 2014. The right-hander crafted a 4.13 ERA in 160 innings pitched in Toronto, going 4-3 in 15 starts.

The Orioles also signed lefties Cesar Cabral and Ashur Tolliver, infielders Ji-Man Choi and Ozzie Martinez, utility man Steve Tolleson, and catcher Audry Perez.
